At Colombia Pharmacy, we want to ensure you receive your medications, health items, and everyday essentials safely and comfortably. This policy explains how our local home delivery service operates. By placing a delivery order, you agree to the conditions outlined below.

1. Delivery Coverage Area

We provide exclusively local home deliveries from our store at 85-26 37th Ave, Jackson Heights, NY 11372. Our designated delivery zone covers the following ZIP codes:

  • 11372 – Jackson Heights
  • 11373 – Elmhurst
  • 11368 – Corona
  • 11369 / 11370 – East Elmhurst
  • 11377 – Woodside
Important Note: We do not offer nationwide or international shipping, nor do we ship via postal carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.). If your address falls outside our local coverage area, you are welcome to pick up your order directly at our pharmacy. If you have questions about your address, call us at (718) 424-6660.

2. Minimum Order Amount & Delivery Fees

  • Minimum Order: Home delivery requires a minimum purchase of $50 USD.
  • Delivery Fee: The delivery charge ranges from $7 to $12 USD (depending on distance within our local coverage area).

3. How to Request a Delivery

You can place your order through any of the following channels:

When ordering, please provide: your full legal name, exact delivery address (including apartment, unit, or floor number), contact phone number, and any special building access instructions (buzzer code, gate access, etc.).

4. Delivery Hours & Estimated Times

Deliveries operate during our regular store hours:

  • Monday through Friday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Dispatch Schedule:

  • Orders confirmed before 4:00 PM are typically delivered the same day.
  • Orders confirmed after 4:00 PM are dispatched on the next available business delivery route.
  • Orders placed during weekends are scheduled for delivery on Monday.
  • Prescription items requiring special sourcing, insurance prior authorization, or prescriber verification will be delivered once fully filled; we will update you promptly by phone.
  • Delivery windows are estimates and may vary due to weather conditions, traffic, holidays, or peak demand.

5. Alcoholic Beverages & Restricted Products

  • Alcoholic Beverages (Beer & Wine): Sold and delivered strictly to adults aged 21 and older. A valid government-issued photo ID must be presented to the courier upon delivery. If age cannot be verified, the product will be returned to the store and will not be delivered.
  • We do not deliver alcoholic beverages to visibly intoxicated individuals, in strict compliance with New York State Liquor Authority (SLA) regulations.
  • New York Lottery: NY Lottery tickets and scratch-offs are NOT eligible for home delivery; they must be purchased in person at our physical store.

6. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept cash on delivery (COD) upon receipt of your order.

7. Unsuccessful Deliveries

If no one is available to receive the delivery:

  • The delivery driver will attempt to contact you by phone.
  • For safety and regulatory compliance, prescription medications, refrigerated goods, and alcoholic beverages will NOT be left unattended at the doorstep or with doormen/concierges without prior explicit authorization for non-restricted items only.
  • The package will be brought back to the pharmacy, where you can either reschedule delivery or arrange store pickup. A re-delivery fee may apply for subsequent attempts.

8. Inspecting Your Order Upon Delivery

Please review your package immediately upon receipt. If an item is missing, damaged, or does not match what was requested, please notify us within 24 hours by calling (718) 424-6660.

9. Returns & Exchanges

Due to healthcare safety and strict New York State pharmacy regulations, dispensed prescription medications cannot be returned or refunded once they leave our possession, except in the case of a verified dispensing error on our part. For non-prescription items and general store merchandise, our standard in-store return policies apply.

10. Policy Updates

Colombia Pharmacy reserves the right to amend or update this policy at any time. The current version will always remain published on this page with its effective date.
